History

The New Millennium also hearalded a New Era for Indoor Karting in Australia.

GO KartSport Racing was the brainchild of Gary Dubois who saw a need for a modern, clean stadium with offering fully optioned facilities that would not only attact male racers, but females too and blue chip corporate clients.

After touring the world looking at other indoor karting stadiums, Gary took the best ideas from them and added a few of his own.

The resilt:

  • The longest indoor track in Australia with an innovative and space saving barrier system set in a spacious and
    airy environment
  • The latest specification European karts - lightweight, fast and safe
  • Full corporate facilities, licensed bar and a kitchen capable of serving a formal banquet for up to 200 guests.

The Hanger

GO KartSport Racing is housed in a giant hanger that was originally built in the USA and shipped to the Northern Territory. It was reassembled and used to maintain and house aircraft of the Allied Forces during World War II

After the War, the huge structure was disassembled and trucked to Melbourne where it was rebuilt in Moorabbin.
